Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a powerful, Linux-based operating system that seamlessly deploys on laptops, desktops and servers. It's free and contains a wide range of applications - from word processing and email applications, to web server software and programming tools.

Concentric Sky has used Ubuntu for a number of years - both on our servers and on the desktop. Even more than the great software, we enjoy the open nature of the Ubuntu community.

Concentric Sky and I worked together briefly when I was at Xplana, but it wasn't until I moved on to Thomson that I got the opportunity to really see them in action. I took over a failing project and needed a developer that could help me turn it around. The Concentric Sky team really saved the day. It is primarily due to their efforts that the project was finally delivered. I highly recommend Concentric Sky for any project and I would love to work with them again in the future.
