It is currently used in over 250 top schools around the world. Written in Java, Sakai has gained a reputation as a extendable platform that's easy to integrate with academic systems.
Concentric Sky has developed Sakai tools and done extensive customizations and refinements of Sakai for a number of large publishers and institutions.
