As Founder of Concentric Sky, Wayne brings to the team his diverse technical, design and leadership experience. A successful entrepreneur who has built a number of small startups, Wayne is also an accomplished product designer and software developer. In addition to software, Wayne's background spans a wide range - from low-level chip architecture and circuit design, to classical art and philosophy. He uses this broad experience to define the overall strategic vision for Concentric Sky.

Wayne began his career in the US Navy working on Avionics Systems, but soon afterwards became interested in microprocessor architecture and silicon chip manufacturing. This led him to work for Texas Instruments, Applied Materials and eventually to Dell, where he played a key role on the Component Engineering Team co-developing early PC prototypes with Intel.

After leaving Dell to study classical art and architecture in Europe, Wayne focused his energies on software design. As a software developer, he has become an expert in applicaion design and online learning. He played a pivotal role in the development of several corporate learning platforms such as Cengage Learning's CengageNOW, iLrn World Languages, and True Outcomes.

Wayne has testified before the FTC on behalf of Google and led a team working with the IETF on next-generation web protocols. He has served as a Director on the Boards of the Software Association of Oregon, the International Professors Project, and Simple Gifts.

Blue Chip Magazine recently honored Wayne with a 20 Under 40 Award for his career achievements.
